A series of Noho Marae have been organised as a chance for Ngati Hokopu Ki Wairaka to discuss & plan the future we want to create for ourselves, our children and our mokopuna. Register for FREE today and we'll see you at the pa for the second wā on Friday 29 November, 2013. 

BACKGROUND
The idea of holding a series of wānanga to establish our hapū vision and aspirations as part of a Strategic Planning process was first raised at the Marae Committee Meeting held 17 March 2013.  A sub-committee was then formed to progress the kaupapa.

AIM
To develop a strategic plan through a series of wānanga that will assist our hapū to achieve our aspirations by identifying steps that support hapū empowerment.

Our W
ānanga will be designed to empower our whanau and hapū through a process of whakawhanaungatanga and structured workshops.

A series of three wānanga are planned: 

1.     Visioning – Establishing our Vision. November 1 - 2, 2013.
2.    
Designing – Designing our Action Plan. November 29 - 30, 2013
3.     Transforming – Launching our Strategy. December 13 - 14, 2013.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
To empower our hapū thorugh a series of wānanga
To collectively develop a Vision, and Strategic Plan that will guide us towards our aspirations.

COST
Funding from the Whanau Ora programme has been secured in association with local social & health service provider Te Puna Ora o Mataatua. Consequently, there will be no cost to attend the wānanga.
